Karen Clement is a board-certified physician assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. She was born and raised in the Matsu and after completing PA school in 2020, she returned to the valley to care for her Alaskan community. She has three years of experience in internal medicine prior to practicing in gastroenterology. Involving patients in their healthcare decisions is important to her daily practice. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, traveling, reading and being outdoors.
